Explain the development history of laundry gel beads

In the centuries before the invention of laundry gel beads, soap was the more common detergent. It was not until the beginning of the 20th century that the effectiveness of surfactants was discovered. In 1907, De Henkel used borate and silicate as the main raw materials to invent laundry gel beads. In the 1940s, 'tetrapropylene benzene sulphonate' (tetrapropylene benzene sulphonate), which was extracted from petroleum, was used to make detergents. In order to facilitate carrying and storage, the detergents were made into powder.

In the 1980s, 'concentrated laundry beads' containing enzymes, brighteners and new surfactants came out. Adding enzyme laundry beads can more effectively remove certain specific dirt, such as juice, ink, soy sauce stains, etc. As for the 'super concentrated laundry beads' appeared in the 1990s, its characteristics are more water-saving, saving packaging and environmental protection.
