Intelligent Testing Equipment for Quality Control of Water-Soluble Pods

In the mass production of water-soluble pods, strict quality testing is essential to ensure that each product meets the standards, especially for multi-compartment pods that have higher requirements for sealing and compartment separation. Intelligent testing equipment integrates machine vision, weight detection, sealing detection and dissolution performance testing technologies, realizing full-process automatic testing and improving testing efficiency and accuracy.

Machine vision detection is the core of intelligent testing equipment. The CCD camera captures the appearance of water-soluble pods in real-time, and the software analyzes the images to detect defects such as irregular shape, uneven surface, incomplete sealing and compartment partition damage. The detection speed can reach 4000 pods per minute, and the defect recognition rate is more than 99.8%. The weight detection device uses high-precision weighing sensors to screen out products with unqualified overall weight or uneven compartment dosage.

The sealing testing equipment adopts air pressure detection technology to detect whether there is leakage in the pods or between compartments, avoiding leakage during storage. Some advanced equipment also integrates online dissolution testing modules to simulate the dissolution process of pods in water and ensure qualified dissolution speed. Intelligent testing equipment is connected with the production line, and unqualified products are automatically removed, realizing closed-loop control of production and testing. At the same time, the equipment can record testing data, forming a quality traceability system.
