6 of every 10 calls are related to detergent (laundry or dishwasher) in the form of packaging.
During these two years, incidents related to laundry detergent packaging have increased by 17, indicating that this is an increasingly serious problem.
The poisoning control center receives more than 30 calls every day for children who ingest or contact laundry detergent bags, and calls every 45 minutes.
At least one child is taken to hospital every day after contact with laundry detergent.
